A story in the Globe and Mail about my fight for Coronation Park.

A story in the Globe and Mail about my fight for Coronation Park.

As commercial dog walkers fight for off-leash turf, local owners start to get scrappy.
My story not only made it to the Globe and Mail but got a heading on the front page! The story was pretty good. Of course it played all sides. The negligent walkers, the big company with 23 employees, and me 🙂
I’m trying to get a copy of the wonderful photo.

“earnings of $15 to $20 per dog per hour”

    wow, I’m RICH!!

    No, wait…

then there’s pick up and drop off time. and there’s gas money. and there’s car maintenance. And the fact that my car has ZERO resale value since becoming a walker. and how about supplies like treats, leashes, and quality toys…

And, most importantly, how about continuing education like books, videos, classes and conferences?

Oh wait. Maybe I’m not so rich after all. Crap.

I think I’ll have to lower my weight limit for new dogs…
