Canine Freestyle Competition

Canine Freestyle Competition

ambient light exercise-41I submitted routines for both Tyson and Delilah for the September 30th Video Competition at the World Canine Freestyle Organization (WCFO). Tyson did a great job for his dance. The only thing I screwed up on was still having my hand in heel position which looks terrible. Oh well, I don’t like being too hard on myself. It’s a lot of work to get the dances done, and to go film them at The Poodle Farm -1.5 hrs away. Delilah did not perform as well as Tyson. She’s very sensitive to sounds, particularly fans in the room and she kept looking up at the ceiling. A few of the times we filmed her, we had to stop because we had visitors from the outside world – crickets and caterpillars on our dance floor. Welcome to the country! Of course Delilah was getting distracted by these fun and fuzzy creatures. Overall, I was happy with her very first performance.
