Rover Achievers are more than just pretty faces.

Rover Achievers are more than just pretty faces.

Julie Posluns

You are probably looking at this photo, with the highlights in Phinny’s fur, and Charlie’s big beautiful grin and thinking, those Rover Achievers are just a bunch of pretty faces – well we resent that. Yeah, we know we have a good-looking group of dogs, and their purple bandanas compliment their eye colour, but Rover Achievers are more than just looks. Take these two for example, Charlie, the golden retriever, just passed her SAT’s (Steal A Toy) test with flying colours. And Phinny, the little cutie to the right, well he can spot a cat over a km away – you try and do that! So I guess what I’m trying to say is nobody likes to be judged by their looks.

Haha! Clover still insists that she’s a sighthound (with a bit of herding something-or-other mixed in; she does like to nip at the heels of trucks, has that odd Border Collie stance fetching, and is as dedicated as keeping the family together (in one room) as Michael Bluth.

      HI katie,

How Funny – love the Michael Bluth comparison. Delilah too, is all about keeping the group together.
